Today's run wasn't as good as last nights run, but I think the main reason for that, is because I ran so late last night and then decided to wake up early this morning and run again. The title of my blog today has little to do with this running challenge, but a lot to do with the daily devotional or Bible Verses of the Day that I add to every blog post. As many of you know I am a very outgoing person, it's not hard for me to go out and meet new people and be friendly to almost anyone I come in contact with, but one of the hardest things for me to do is to consistently share my faith or beliefs with other people. Many of you see me wear shirts that have Bible Verses on them, and you see these posts I blog about and probably think that I'm the most religious/spiritual person in the world. First off let me just clear the air, I'm Not. I have a personal relationships with the Savior of the Universe Jesus Christ and I work hard everyday to do His will for my life, and to try and encourage people to follow suit. It's never been easy for me to just go up to someone randomly and tell them I'm a Christian and then continue to tell them what the Lord has done for me over all the years. I try to use social media very smart, I don't ever want to feel like I'm a different person on Social Media than I am in person. This blog has helped me become a better believer and has done nothing but strengthen my relationship with Christ. You can say all you want that the past 56 days have been solely about running, but it's has been about so much more to me personally, it's been about working hard to read a chapter in the bible every single day. It's been about challenging myself to love others no matter what they have done to me, and it's been about loving others the way Christ has loved me. I'm thankful I'm able to write a blog post almost everyday and have a bible verse or two thrown in and keep myself accountable, and hopefully inspire and motivate anyone else who wants to either start a relationship with Christ, or strengthen it to do that very thing.

Verse of the Day: Luke 12:22-23, "Then He said to His disciples: 'Therefore I tell you, don't worry about your life, what you will eat; or about the body, what you will wear. For life is more than food and the body more than clothing.'"
The passage does continue and I challenge you to click THIS LINK, and read the remainder of it. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to Shine a Bright Light. My verse yesterday said it perfectly about you don't have a light and hide it under a basket, but you shine it for the world to see. Jesus Christ and my relationship with Him is my light, and I'm going to shine for everyone to see!
